'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in coming back to the Premier League has faded and he is open to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The prolific striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year agreement he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the summer of 2023.

The experienced forward has scored an remarkable 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, contributing them secure the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the first important honor of his illustrious career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously expressed that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England leader has now suggested that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he once was, and would seriously consider extending his tenure in Bavaria.

"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he stated.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so goes and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not considering about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the historic top goalscorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five divisions, attaining the milestone in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would react after breaking his trophy drought, but now thinks it has made him hungry for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."

Future Prospects

  • Continued success with Bayern Munich is Kane's top focus
  • The option of a Premier League return has noticeably decreased
