In a unexpected crossover event that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost bonus story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Questline Uncovered

According to the formal release, "An unusual encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a clandestine sect.

The adventure concentrates on "strange experiments and a monstrous enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Changes

The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Bonus Content

Players who finish the mission will obtain an exclusive katana alongside numerous objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

• Mikasa attire for Naoe

Third Free Story Update

This patch also introduces the game's latest complimentary story addition, titled "The Enigma."
