Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy

After a short availability back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts through early December. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.

The Main Attraction

The big draw is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and additional utilities. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
